Iva Mrdeža is Master of Social Policy employed in CERANEO - Center for Development of Nonprofit Organizations. She has more than seven years of experience in government authority and the non-for-profit sector. In CERANEO she is responsible for project preparation, implementation and dissemination, as well as for the organization of workshops and seminars for representatives of national, local and regional public authorities, in thematic areas of social policies with special emphasis on the topics of homelessness and housing exclusion.
Iva has special interest in civil society sustainability research. Her work position also includes building a bridge of cooperation between the academic and local community. She was project manager of ESF project named “Development of service learning program for the active engagement of students in the field of homelessness prevention and social inclusion of the homeless people“ which was implemented by CERANEO.
