Newsletter 6 - June 2024

In this June 2024 newsletter, we present the latest activities of the RE-DWELL network, with a spotlight on the Barcelona Conference. This was the final event in the network’s programme, as RE-DWELL will conclude its activities on September 30, 2024.

The RE-DWELL Barcelona Conference  was held at the School of Architecture, La Salle Ramon Llull University, from May 15 to 17, 2024. The event brought together early-stage researchers (ESRs), supervisors, partner organizations, as well as guest speakers and interested audiences.  A total of fifty delegates attended the conference.

The evaluation of the RE-DWELL transdisciplinary research framework for affordable and sustainable housing continued through two participatory activities, in Lisbon and Nicosia. Since the last newsletter in December 2023, four new reports have been produced:  RE-DWELL Compendium of scientific publications (year 2), RE-DWELL Summer School 3 (Reading), Research Methods and Tools – Report 3  and Transferable Skills – Report 3.

The collective work of RE-DWELL was showcased in two exhibitions: one at the Barcelona Conference and another at the University of Cyprus.

Reflections from three partners organisations attending the Barcelona conference are included in the concluding section of this newsletter.
